Amber Thompson - CEO

With over 20 years of extensive accounting experience—including a decade in public accounting—Amber steps into the role of CEO at L&L Bookkeeping, carrying forward the firm’s founding mission to act as the seamless accounting arm for every client’s business. Building on L&L’s strong foundation, she is dedicated to helping owners make intelligent, growth-minded decisions backed by clean books and actionable insights.

Amber brings deep technical expertise across tax, payroll, financial statements, and audits, alongside specialized industry knowledge in healthcare and manufacturing. Having previously served as L&L’s Accounting Operations Manager, she seamlessly blends high-level operational efficiency with an unwavering dedication to precision and integrity. Whether streamlining systems, navigating complex financial landscapes, or preparing a business to scale, Amber ensures every client receives proactive communication, reliable reporting, and total peace of mind.

At her core, Amber possesses a genuine passion for working with numbers and turning financial complexity into clarity. She champions L&L’s founding pillars—honesty, accountability, and treating every business like her own—guaranteeing that clients have a deeply invested financial partner for tax season, audits, and long-term success.

Cindy Weller - Office Manager

Cindy came to L&L Bookkeeping with over twenty years of bookkeeping and payroll. She has worked for larger companies (100 employees or more), served as a multi-jurisdictional payroll specialist, performing all aspects of payroll (in-house to outsourced), and certified (prevailing wage) payroll.

Her past experiences are with construction, architectural, and engineering industries, as well as R&D tax credits.

Cindy says she loves a challenge and learning new things, and with the variety of clients that L&L has, she comes to “play” every day at work!

Renee Veach - Bookkeeper

Renee is a seasoned accounting professional with over a decade of experience specializing in financial management, cash management, and analysis. Her career began with a strong focus on general ledger accounting, where she developed experience and expertise in reporting, budget management, payroll, and compliance. Renee’s proficiency extends to cash management, where she has effectively overseen cash flow operations. Her ability to streamline accounting processes and enhance cash management systems has not only ensured accuracy but also significantly contributed to cost savings and financial stability for the organizations she has worked with.

Renee’s experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) has enabled her to streamline organizational processes and enhance overall team performance. As a certified notary public, Renee has added an extra layer of versatility to her skill set, handling critical documentation and legal processes with precision. 

Renee’s past experience includes accounting in manufacturing, signage, government contracting, and dental industries.

Outside of her professional life, Renee is a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan. She also enjoys traveling and reading.
